Glass Separation
Each glass pane shall be isolated with non-abrasive cork padding to prevent surface damage during transit.
Crating Requirements
Export-grade double-walled plywood crates (or solid wood crates) with reinforced edges, designed to withstand sea/land transportation stresses.
Securement System
Apply ASTM D6251-compliant steel strapping or polymer-reinforcement bands to eliminate movement within the crate.
Corner Protection
Install UV-stabilized PVC corner caps (or rubber guards) at all four edges to absorb impact forces.
Desiccant Application
Include industrial-grade silica gel desiccant packets (ASTM C271 certified) within each crate to maintain relative humidity <40%.
