What is clear glass?
Clear glass is what consumers think of when they think of glass: that with no visible tint or additives that make it anything but transparent. When float glass comes off the line, the presence of iron shows up as a green tint. This fine and clear finish ensures clarity of vision with the true colors of the objects.
Clear tempered glass is referred to as "safety glass." It is more resistant to breakage than ordinary clear float glass. If broken, it usually breaks into relatively small particles, less likely to cause serious injury.
